Treatment as prevention means that an HIV-positive person that is in successful treatment cannot transmit HIV. The following conditions apply:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The viral load (the amount of viruses in the blood) of the HIV-positive person has been classified as \u201cundetectable\u201d for at least six months and is examined by a specialist at regular intervals (approx. every 3 months).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HIV medication is taken correctly and regularly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Treatment as prevention only protects against HIV transmission, not other STIs. Condoms can provide additional protection against these.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Condoms, PrEP and treatment as prevention each reliably protect you against HIV and can be combined with each other.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Choose what suits you best. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.iwwit.de\/hiv-im-leben\/schutz-durch-therapie-nicht-kondom-suchen-einfach-voegeln\/\" target=\"_blank\">See here for <strong>further information<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sidekicks.berlin\/en\/sex\/fetishes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Information about <strong>infection risks<\/strong> associated with different sex acts<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>Get tested for HIV, Hep C and other sexually transmitted infections (STI) at least once a year! Swabs on the tail, ass and throat give security to find everything that does not belong there!
